Guestbook for Allison Ann Bucy Showing 1 - 15 of 87 entries.

Dear Jim and Carolyn;

It was with deep regret I was informed of the passing of Allison a few weeks ago. While I didn’t know her, she obviously was a wonderful, beautiful, gifted treasure in the lives of many.

Knowing the deep faith your family shares must give you some comfort. I can’t imagine how difficult this has been for both of you and all who loved her so much.

My purpose in contacting you is to extend my deepest sympathy and to let you know I, like so many, pray for peace in her passing.

I have been with Paul’s company for 27 years so have had the opportunity to meet both of you briefly in the past.

Sincerely,

Ruth Matheson, Canada

Allie was one of those wonderful people who will never be forgotten by all who knew her. She had a gift in her ability to connect with others; to make them feel special. She was always ready to give a smile to brighten up one's day. I had the good fortune of spending quality time getting to know Allie while traveling for work. She could make anyone we came across have a better day! Her courage and strength is an example to all and she will be missed dearly.
My deepest sympathies,
Michael

Of all the times I've spent with Allie over the past decade or so, perhaps the most fun I've ever had with her was Easter weekend this year, just days before she passed.

Allie was living proof that the potential exists for a person to live life as though every day were the best day of her life. And every moment. I'm certain that Allie's last day was the best day of her young (but very complete) life.

I know that Allie went to heaven with no unfinished business and completely at peace with the world and everyone in it ;)

There will never be another person like her, but what a guardian angel all of her loved ones now have.

All of my love,
Rachel

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with her family and friends.

I was so sad to hear about Allie's sudden passing and want to share my deepest sympathies and prayers to all her friends and family. I joined Ruckus, in Herndon Virginia, at the end of last year and I only got to know Allie a little bit while she worked here. We went out to lunch one day, and I was simply blown away by how sharp she was and what an incredible attitude and energy she exuded. I spent the next month trying to convince her she should do sales with me and the sales team! We didn't talk much about her struggles with her illness, but she mentioned it once when our conversation turned to religion and philosophy. It was obvious that she had cultivated a deep spirituality through her experiences. I'm very grateful for the brief time I was able to know her, and she'll always stand out as one of the most remarkable people I've ever met.

With love and sorrow,

Allison was a very caring and thoughtful individual. Always smiling, she was cherished by everyone around her.

I enjoyed her gift and personality while I was on MHS Debate team with Allison.

She will be greatly missed.

Carolyn, Jim, Cole and Jason,
Tom and I are so sorry for your loss. I have special memories of Allie in class at Midway. I will never forget her laughing out loud while reading CATCH 22. She assured me that it was the best book she had ever read. I also looked forward to seeing her in church. Her bright smile and hug would make my day. For the past two years, Tom has prayed for healing for Allie, but God had better things in store for her. What a bright star! She will be missed. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding.

I recently started working for Allison's grandparents, Paul and Jane. Around the house I would hear these amazing things about Allison, and as I ran errands around town, other people would ask how she was doing and mention how they knew her and how much they liked her. I became very impressed by her even though I had never met her! Unfortunately, I was never lucky enough. But I am still impressed by a young woman who could inspire so many to say such sweet things. You raised a wonderful woman and helped her have a full life, even a stranger can see that.
I and my family are keeping you in our prayers.

Dear Carolyn and Jim,

Your father, Paul J. Meyer, sent me a memo about your daughter, Allie. He asked me to pray for you and your entire family. I share your sorrow, as I lost my 32 year-old oldest daughter about ten years ago. Please know that my entire family and myself are praying for you.
